Milton District Hospital

completed with Diamond Schmitt Architects as Student Architect
Milton, Ontario, Canada
submission for P3 bid
330,000 sq.ft.

During the summer of 2014 I was involved as part of the project pursuit team at Diamond Schmitt Architects for the expansion of Milton District Hospital, in association with ZGF Architects. The expansion to the existing hospital included a diagnostic and treatment block as well as an inpatient unit; Diamond Schmitt was responsible for the D&T portion of the bid.

Involved from the beginning of the project until the final user presentation, I worked closely with the senior medical planner in developing floor plans, room data sheets, and schedules for the diagnostic and treatment block. I was also responsible for ensuring compliance with the user’s functional program requirements.
