482,000 sq.ft. - Targeting LEED Platinum and WELL Certification

During my time at MCM Partnership I was involved in the design development phase for a 32 storey commercial office tower in downtown Vancouver. The mid-block building is an expansion to an existing high-rise office tower on an adjacent property and is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification.

My primary responsibilities included: creating and managing a Revit model based on AutoCAD drawings; developing facade design options featuring photovoltaic louvres; developing a shared podium and lobby between the new and existing towers; investigating compliance with LEED credits. In addition to design exercises I was also responsible for producing a drawing set consisting of floor plans, sections, and elevations which was submitted for a development permit application.
